What is it?

Shop & Support is a gift card purchasing program that allows for an easy way to raise money for The Northern Secondary School Foundation.- the charitable organization of Northern Secondary School supporting bursaries, scholarships and grant allocations for projects…..www.nssf.ca

How Does it Work?

Actually, it is pretty easy. Visit http://www.shopandsupport.ca and sign up using our Group ID#: 0100575961. It is under the name: Northern Secondary School Foundation. Browse their online catalogue for the gift cards that you want to buy, and send in an order form to the NSSF. The NSSF provides a deadline for supporters to return the order form along with their payment. Cheques made payable to the NSSF (not Shop and Support).  The NSSF then places a bulk order. Gift cards are then sent to the NSSF and we arrange deliever/pick up for you directly. Shop and Support adheres to a 5 day cycle, with a weekly Monday cut off. Payment made to Shop and Support by Tuesday and orders shipped to NSSF by Friday of each week.

What’s in it for Northern?

While you are paying face value for the card, the Northern Secondary School Foundation gets a percentage of that face value in return towards our fundraising effort. For example, if you purchase a card with a face value of $100, a percentage between 3% -20% of this $100 is returned to the Foundation. The percentage returned is determined by the retail card purchased.
